Testimonials

“This video was very good, and in my opinion, would be an excellent choice for the beginning or intermediate student. It was packed with over 60 kicking exercises.”

“I was extremely impressed with Mac’s ability. Not only did he impressively perform all the various exercises on this video, but [he] also included numerous excerpts of footage from several full contact tournaments he fought in and won. He definitely looked to be `the real deal.'”

“If you’re looking for a video on kicking, and you’re a beginning or intermediate student, this could be the tape you’ve been looking for.”

Martial Arts Video Reviews
November 1997

“I recently purchased your new video Power High Kicks with No Warm-Up! It was the very best. Very informative and the live footage was great. [My kicks are] faster, [with] more power—not as much time stretching.”

Philip Ameris
New Kensington, Pennsylvania

“My raising kicks on kibon are higher. My balance is better in my spinning kicks and side kicks. I’m working on my roundhouse kicks, trying to go higher. I have learned that the kicks don’t have to hurt [me]!”

Rosemary Geoffrey
Fairlee, Vermont

“I used to have pain in my upper outside hip when I round kicked [did the roundhouse kicks]. My former instructor had no clue what the problem was. By watching your video Power High Kicks with No Warm-Up! I solved the problem (that I had for months) in a few days. It amazed me!”

Martin Wickersham
Phillips, Wisconsin

“Kicks have improved! [My] workouts do include your tips. In my taekwondo teaching, I have used your techniques in class.”

Donald Lussier
Milton, Vermont

“This method of warming-up and working out is much faster than what is traditionally taught.”

Jon Miller
Indian Wells, California

  3. Mac’s drills really work. My kicks got stronger and higher, my warm-ups shorter. Soon I will do all my high kicks without any warm-up.

I’m interested in purchasing a video Power High Kicks With No Warm-Up. But I have a question; Does this work in self-defense, especially in a real fight? Steven Mack asked on 2024-06-14

With right tactics, it does. With wrong tactics, it doesn't. So it depends on how tactically smart a fighter you are. This is true for all weapons and techniques. See High Kicks with Tactically Sound Setups.

Is this dvd appropriate for someone who isn’t very flexible right now and can’t head kick? Would this help with being able to head kick? Or would you recommend improving flexibility first with one of the other videos/books and then move on to this? Ry asked on 2022-04-07
