Gold Medal Mental Workout program was designed by Dariusz Nowicki, Ph.D., world-renowned East European sports psychologist of Olympic Teams. Dr. Nowicki is also a member of the Technical Committee of the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF). The Technical Committee of the WTF deals with the development of taekwondo as a sport, tendencies emerging in progress of its techniques, equipment both for protection and for judging, and competition rules and regulations.
An accomplished athlete in his own right, Mr. Nowicki won the Lee Cup in 1991, the biggest taekwondo forms tournament in Poland; in 1986 he won the gold medal in the Poland National Taekwondo Championships. In 1979 he competed in the World Taekwondo Championship (fighting). From 1972 to 1982 he participated in judo and competed several times in Championships of Poland. He has trained athletes in freestyle and greco-roman wrestling, judo, Olympic style taekwondo (his team consistently wins national championship), and karate. He is also internationally accredited as a referee for taekwondo.

I found this Mental Workout over 15 years ago for my daughter’s fencing team. The coach was thrilled with the higher results when the fencers used the program. Then I used it to prepare for.a dogsport competition: I had no nerves at all and found success. Nothing could perturb my calm. I am competing again and I just bought the mp3 version which is so easy to use.
As I progress through the exercises week by week, my training has improved too. There is calm and there is clarity so timing is better. Muscle memory is able to flow unimpeded. The program produces a different mental state which produces results.

I’m in week 5 and already a lot more relaxed than before. Less scared, less „anticipation“ and more presence in the now.
I have been training (all kinds of sports and activities) since I know for myself, but I was only training physical part, which means a lot of muscular tension which produced general (and mental) tension and enlarged anxiety, I feel. I knew I needed to work on other side of coin, for balance in body, mind and life, but I didn’t know how and all advices I found were not so well explained and off the point.
