hi mr Kurz and Stadion community, i have some questions about adductor pulldowns. ( sorry for my bad english )
1)Are pulldowns less effective than flyes?
2)Is possible to develop adductor strenght ( in preparation for isometrics ) only by pulldowns instead of flyes?
3)Are low weight / extra high reps ( up to 100 ) effective on pulldowns?
thank for replyes

questions about adductor pulldowns
Hi,
1)I wouldn't say less or more effective. Each can have it's role in a training program. With flies, the movement more closely resembles the splits as both legs are moving together. With flies though, most people seem to have problems adding adequate resistance(if you don't own iron boots anyway).
2)I don't see why not.It will condition the connective tissues the same.
3)Yes.They are used for strengthening connective tissues so high reps/low weight is preferable.
Dragon.
