Can't Wait

Post by Daniel »

Hello All,

FIRST POST!!!! :)

I am currently in training to get in shape for some very intense MA training off shore this coming winter and was greatful to find this site.

Wednesday I ordered two copies of the Sci. Stretching book. One for me and one for my trainers. I hope that what is written meets up to its promise. It seems very likely that it will. I also hope that my trainers will be open minded enough to integrate what is written in the book into my training.

I cannot wait for delivey. I am very excited to be headed down this path and hope that I, too, will be one of those who can do full splits in either direction. I am also glad that there is this support forum. It should help me stay motivated.

Wish me the best gang. I am sure that we will be talking.

Best,

Dan

PS: I am in the central CT area, in case anyone want to know. :)

Welcome to the forum.

The information in the book may seem radical compared to traditional methods but stick with it and you'll see improvements in flexibility and performance.

Good luck with your training.

Radical is fine with me. I have always been a "think outside the box" type of person. In fact, I can't understand people whose minds are closed to new ideas because "that is the way everyone else does it."

I am sort of lucky in that I am all very new to this sort of training. I have no mold to break. No old habits. No "traditional ways."

To make it even better, one of my instructors has an equally open mind and is looking just as much forward to the copy that I got for him as I am for mine. (They didn't come yesterday. DAMMIT!!!) :)

I have the feeling that this instructor will probably integrate the training on my request. Great news for me, huh?

I have always wanted to have an impressive split. I hope that this is it.

Thanks for the welcome.

Best,

Dan
