Hello,
I am curious as to how many sets of abdominal exercises should be performed? My confusion is the result of several conflicting sources, and deals specifically with training abdominals.
My question is what is the best approach? Should I be focused on increasing the number of repetitions each microcycle, or the number of sets? Is there a ceiling to the number of sets that should be performed? Should I just perform one set of the exercise and simply try to increase the repetitions - and at what point should I add another set?
Any help you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
how many sets?
