hopefully you can help I am a first year student on a sport health and fitness degree in the UK ( and a very mature student at nearly 50 ) - as part of one of our modules we have to do a gym instruction which requires not only a design of a routine for use in the university gym with a client who will have an induction to the equipment and the various protocols, i.e. Warm up,Preparatory stretches, CV training, resistance training ( machines ), body weight exercises , cool down and maintenance / developmental stretches - as part of the process we are expected to use in the preparatory stretches ( as guided by the governing body static stretches ) as opposed to dynamic stretches - which i know are what you mr Kurz you would recommend - can you give me some detailed ( but not too much since of word count ) explanation for why it would be preferable to use dynamic stretches in the prep phase as opposed to what they desire - many thanks in advance Anthony
