Horse Riding Stance Questions

Post by skoolboi704 »

Hey guys 2nd post lol,

I've been reading different posts and I've noticed people talking about the horse riding stance. When I was speeding skating I would do wall sits, except I didn't spread my legs. My questions are since I'm a beginner how to do I go about starting the stance and how will I know I'm in the 5 stance. Also when they say squeeze the floor, does that mean try closing legs?

Help me please, help me please lol

My response is same as my response to your first post: "Purchase and read carefully "Stretching Scientifically," and then buy the DVD "Secrets of Stretching" and watch it several times. . . . [Y]ou don't have the knowledge you need to get you were you want to go. The book and DVD will give you that knowledge."

Also, read all of the articles Kurz has written and posted on this site. http://www.stadion.com/column.html Also, http://www.stadion.com/injuries_sports.html

From Article 2 on this site: "To assume a five-step stance stand on attention (feet side-by-side) and then turn out your heels (one-step) , then turn out your toes (two-step), then your heels again (three-step), then turn out the toes again (four-step), and then turn out the heels (five-step)." http://www.stadion.com/column_stretch02.html

Yes.

As I'm sure your teachers tell you in school, read the materials.
