Does anyone know (including Tom), when the videos -secrets of stretching- and -high power kicks without warm-ups- will be released in DVD formats ?

I have been told by the DVD replicator that “Secrets of Stretching” DVDs will be shipped to Stadion on June 26.

any extra material?

That is good news about the DVD.

Will it contain the same material as the video, or will there be some extra material?

Very little new material, mostly reedit for DVD format with its nonlinear viewing. With three language versions no room was left on the DVD for any extras.

Hi,

I bought Stretching Scientifically. Should I buy the DVD as well and what the benefit would be?

I think it's worth it. It will show you how to train with weights and the workouts required to be able to get to full flexibility.

Personally I would recommend "Science Of Sports Training", "Stretching Scientifically", and "Secrets Of Stretching" as they're all fantastic in their own way!

I just got my copy of Science Of Sports Training after having waited 6 weeks on it shipping from the USA ( something to do with it getting reprinted ) ... This is a bible on sports training, if you haven't already got it, get it now !!

Hi
I was also wondering wether I should buy 'stretching scientificaly' and 'secrets of stretching' together or just 'secrets of stretching'.
You say that in the book there is shown how to train with weights, but I already do that. Are the weighttraining methods very different from training for (olympic style) weightlifting(wich I already do)?

Please forgive me if my questions sound stupid :?

The video/DVD shows some strength exercises (for lower body), not the book. The book teaches you all kinds of stretches and in depth info on stretching. On the DVD for example you get to see dynamic stretching in action and all kinds of stretching routines and next to that are some strength exercises for the lower body. I don't know what your training routine and goals are like, but you should see for yourself what you need and what to buy. Both products are very useful in my humble opinion.
