When I do axe kicks I have a clicking sensation in my hips. Any suggestion on how to get rid of this clicking?
I had the clicking and found strengthening the surrounding muscles stopped the clicking. I did slow leg raises, all the while concentrating on good leg alignment with the hip and overall posture, as many reps as I could stand, as slowly and purposefully as possible . . . I went about it with the attitude that I was "re-training" my body, or "re-aligning" it. Immediately after the slow leg raises I made sure to do full rotation stretches to help lubricate the joint areas and build tendon strength. Clicking became less and eventually went away completely.
