Hi everyone,
In his most recent article Mr Kurz mentions the following:
“Pay attention to your body to decide what exercises to do and which to drop. For example, if your feet hurt when practicing jumping kicks or kicking a heavy bag, then kick less and do more general strength exercises for your feet (to strengthen their arches).”
Does anyone know which exercises for feet he is referring to? I am flat footed and have recently been experiencing pain when kicking the heavy bag and would be greatly interested in any exercises that strenthen the feet in this regard.
Thanks
David

Re
Check out his column, he lists a set of strength exercises in there....can't quite remember where, but they consisted of things like crumpling rugs/newspaper/towels with your toes, scooting around by contracting and and extending your toes (try it in a chair with wheels if you can't do it standing up), etc. Hope that helps,

Foot Stretches and exercises
I found this site and they offer some good advice on what causes heel pain and some stretches and exercises to help too. I think they even have a free guide.<P>
