Hi again
I have just started actually trying the exercises in the dvd, but since I have no iron boots I just do adductor pull downs(Is that ok?).
The back of the dvd says you have to do the exercises two days per week, but is it ok to do them more frequently? It also says you need to spend 4-15 minutes a day on dynamic stretches, is this needed if you are no martial artist/high kicker?
p.s. Is it possible that if you overdo these exercises you will develop crooked legs(x-shaped)?
special strength exercises for the adductors: frequency?
If you are working with high intensity i would imagine more than twice per week would be overkill.Adequate rest is needed so you muscles aren't too fatigued for stretching.
If you are not a martial artist doing the early morning dynamic stretches every day so you can kick without warm up does seem a bit pointless.I think i remember reading your interest lies with powerlifting? You should probably perform some form of dynamic stretching/warm up more closely linked to your chosen sport(Before the activity,i still doubt it needs to be performed every day).
If you are an adult performing other forms of stretching/physical training,i seriously doubt you could deform yourself. You say X-shaped?I assume you mean so your legs bend outwards at mid point?I think your knees would probably snap before the bone could permanently bend out of shape

Dragon, thanks very much for the advice
My interest is (olympic style) weightlifting and probably the side split is also quiet pointless , but I want to show people that strength training does NOT make you 'stiff as a board'. After watching the dvd it seems possible for the first time in my life
Thanks again, Maxime
