Help with workout plan
I have started training my self in Shaolin wushu a art were the splits is one of the main movements in many forms. My training so far is 45 minutes of dynamic stretching/range of motion training and 1 hour and 15 minutes of wushu training. I do this 3 times a week on mondays, wednesdays and fridays. My question how should I add the strength training etc that Kurt's talks about to this. Also should I be doing the dynamic stretching everyday of the week or only on my Wushu days.

Do dynamic stretching everyday both morning and night. You only need up to 3 sets of 12 reps maximum per leg. It takes like 5 minutes. All I do is alternate every 12 reps from leg to leg by raising them up slowly to the side and gradually increasing the speed.
