Why can't I do splits?
I have spent many months trying to get side splits. I can do dynamic stretches over my head easily with no warm-up. I can do squats and deadlifts with 200 lb. I weigh about 134 lb. I can't seem to progress anymore. After isometric stretching, I can get about 7 inches from the floor. I have actually been in a full side split, but that was while holding weight. Without a warm-up, I can only come about maybe a little over a foot off the ground. Can someone help me?

Sounds to me like lack of adductor strenth (it not your deadlift or squat!).
Try doing adductor pulldowns, lunges (front and side) and also are you doing straight leg deadlifts? If not it might be worth doing those.
Also do you run regularly taking large strides?
