Current level of flexibility

Post by CrazyBoy »

Hi there!

I just want to open a topic regarding everyone here. I wanted us to share something intimate: out current level of flexibility. If this subject doen't bother you I shall start first: eventhough I haven't performed any serious stretching session for the past 3-4 months, my flexibility is still good. I can do both full front splits without any warm-up and I have 4-5 inches to go till full side split. That's good, considering the fact that i stretch once 2 or 3 weeks, and that for 5 minutes :)
You?

Alright there Crazyboy!

I can't do any split yet but i'm really working on it, i don't do isometrics yet as i'm still working on core strength, i do sumo squats instead and only relaxed stretches so far, i don't really try the front split as i'm so into trying to acomplish the side split, i really must start giving it a go cause a lot of people seem to be able to do that one easier.

I'm glad someone's starting a conversation as there's not been that many lately.

I think this topic was already open by someone else, but I wanted to know each other and possibly help each other in one major topic. Hope to see more replies :D

Hello Crazyboy,

I must say I don't do any stretching lately, last time I did splits was in summertime (august). I was never able to perform front splits, but side splits were never problem for me though.

I must start with some stretching again.

Cheers.

I think I still have good flexibility, because I still perform a lot of horse stance throughout a day - still greasing the groove.
