Ok, I have the book in front of me and it says: "Outside of pathological cases, there is no such thing as inborn flexibility". I said this to someone and he said that this is not true because he knew some persons who could performed the side split (or displayed a much greater flexibility than him) without practicing any particular sport.
Can someone explain the reason for this quotation? Don't want to be misunderstood. I am just asking.
Inborn flexibility???
Re: Inborn flexibility???
The people who are extremely flexible for "no reason" may have been born with a medical condition sometimes refered to as "double jointed".CrazyBoy wrote: "Outside of pathological cases, there is no such thing as inborn flexibility".
This would come under the pathological cases Mr.K may be refering to.
