Not satisfied, guys!
Not satisfied, guys!
Hello guys! I want to say that I still have difficulties with my side split. Whenever I attempt the side split, I feel a strong contraction in right innerthigh zone. I'm not sure what it is holding me for not doing the side split, but what I am sure is that in my left side I do not feel that way. Please advise, I am a little desperate!!!

I'm not sure what routine you've been following or how long you've been doing it for, but from the title you've put for this topic and the general tone of your post, I'd say you're trying too hard!CrazyBoy wrote:Hello guys! Mat
Mat- yeah, I guess I am trying a little too much, cause I want to see some progress in my side split as in my left front split which now it is full (after 1 or 2 tries). I know I still have to train to make it full.
Dragon- from what I can remember, I never had my right adductor damaged. But I feel it more tense than the left one, even by touch. And it even seems to be more thicker than the left. You've send me some pictures of adductor exercises. Can you please send me more, to experiment them and find out what suits me?

mate i know what you mean.
i have been kickboxing almost 1.5 years now and
all i see in class is peeps kicking so easy and naturaly it is anoying
but
i find it soo hard to side kick its almost silly.
it is soo frustrating i know what you mean.
but everybody is difernt.
its taken me a long time to realise this.
i still find it hard to side kick even to normal basic levels
but i am improving. the conclusion i have come to is that i
just have weaker muscles in certain places thats it.
took me a long time to accept it but hey.
i can front kick with soo much ease its almost silly so i guess
you take the rough with the smooth.
i am still tryin to devlop my side kick and i hope with toms help
i can overcome my flase start. dont give in mate.
