I used about 30kg also, but haven't performed pulldowns for a long time.Once my stretching goals were achieved i dropped all flexibility specific exercises and rely only on isometrics for flexibility training.

Yes,i still perform a weight training routine along with cardio and martial arts training.

I don't know whether it is recommended that you drop the pulldowns-It was a personal choice for me.In my younger days my training seemed to revolve around trying to achieve the splits.Being able to do the splits doesn't mean someone is a good martial artist though.I can honestly say that in my youth my determination to achieve the splits was based more on ego(Van Damme looked cool when i was 14 years old).

Now i'm older,my training attitude has changed. So it was just about prioritizing my exercises/routines.

Although i've dropped the pulldowns, adductor flys,side/front lunges, etc,i haven't had a reduction in flexibility, the isometrics and relaxed stretches maintain that for me.

If I don't have any material for pulldowns, what other exercises could I do that work in a similar way?

Would it be good to perform the movements but just without any weight? What is it going to work on? Which muscles mainly? Is it the same as lying on the floor, turned on one side and lifting the leg?

Pulldowns work the adductors. If you performed the movement without any weight, you would be workng your abductors to lift the leg,not the adductors to pull down the the leg.
The same applies to lying on your side and lifting one leg at a time.
