Sequence of Strength and Stretch workout

Post by Guest »

I am a little confused about the order of doing these workouts. Do I do my isometric stretches after my my intensive workouts and before lets say abs or do we do them last altogether? Though my question may be vague, can anyone give me some advice on this?

Isometric stretches should be done *after* the main part of your workout. Remember, the purpose of the isometric contractions in those stretches is to fatigue your muscles; something that's going to be made even easier after your workout. In addition to that, they mess up your prioreceptor (balance, coordination, etc), so doing them before your workout would be detrimental.
