Lunges
Hi there, arrange your workouts to what you feel, for example if you do 3 sets of 20 lunges in each direction and you're so sore that you miss your next Workout then that's going to stop your progress, it's better to do less twice a week than more once a week. If i was you i'd do 3 sets of 10 and br...

Leg Raises
I'm currently Deadlifting: 44lb X 10 reps 77lb X 8 reps 118lb X 8 reps twice a week along with 200 reps in various situps, crunches, etc at least 3 times a week. My problem is my back and abdomen still tense and shake when i try to perform straight leg leg raises, (which i attempt before deadlifts) ...

I'm not sure about some of ur concerns but i'd say you can train them at the same time, they're both active and both require flexibility. My goals are flexibility for M.A and the more strength i gain the more flexibility i gain and sadly without much sign of muscle, sounds like for you that would be...

Hi there. Unless you have good genetics for building muscle you probably wont gain any from weights, some people try their best by eating huge amounts of protien and doing low reps with heavy weights and still dont gain muscle, just strength. Personaly i think if you use low weights and do many reps...

Alright there Crazyboy! I can't do any split yet but i'm really working on it, i don't do isometrics yet as i'm still working on core strength, i do sumo squats instead and only relaxed stretches so far, i don't really try the front split as i'm so into trying to acomplish the side split, i really m...

Message For Dragon
Since your advise on deadlifts i've progressed on lowering the supports and increasing the weight with no soreness in the hamstrings (which was my original problem) My questions are: 1 - I know only i can answer how may sets and reps i should do but would you recomend 3 sets of 5 (warm up), 1 set of...

Most of my questions were answered by reading other peoples posts and i can say pretty much all my improvement has come from this, without the advise on this forum i'd still be pressing on with the same old techniques and making little progress. The video is clear but not everyone adapts to it so qu...

Butterfly Stretch?
I've heard various people say that their Martial Arts instructor stands or jumps on their knees while they're in the butterfly stretch (Lying on back, heels together and forcing knees to the ground) And if you can't get knees to the ground you have poor ROM of the hip joints and will never do side s...
