I don't think becoming better mentally has to do anything with personal trait. I believe has to do more with desire. Not just I would like to desire, but I am going out to do my best. I am like you when it comes to this kind of situation. However, I try to find a focus/goal in mind to keep me going....

I am not Mr. Kurz, but I might know something. I don't know your true problem, but Mr. Kurz in his video Secrets of Stretching said that u will make some progress at first and then that progress will stop. Then he says that the more u strengthen your legs the more u will be able to stretch your legs...

Considering the way u train, by the time u reach your black belt test, u will be too exhausted. Thomas Kurz does mention that athletes train hard and give them a certain amount of rest(about 2 weeks). This rest could be of low intensity exercises that will help u recover and by the time your test co...

I not a real expert on this, but I think Thomas Kurz has mentioned something as having some form of alternate workout. For example, u can really do a lot of running. My idea comes from the fact that power walkers have to run for their training. I think Kurz meant that using cycling as a constant met...

It seems to me that u might be doing too much. If u have "Science of Sports Training", it has some studies that a person he works twice a day at some intensity makes the same result as probably half the load with the same intensity. I don't know how u train, but it seems that u probably workout real...

Well, Mark: If I was asking advice on how to improve my martial arts, this would be an excellent advice. I guess I didn't explain myself well enough or you are simple minded, but what i mean when i am forced to stay there until i am a black belt is that i stupidly, foolishly, etc paid my course unti...

How should I arrange my schedule?
I am a college student with a tight schedule. Mondays-Wednesdays-Friday I can workout in the evenings and have workouts in mornings for Tuesday and Thursday. I also take bad Tae Kwon Do classes, in which I forced to take until I get a black belt. Now to get to the point of this, I plan to workout my...
