can you get aerobic with weights?
Can I get aerobic benefits with a cirucuit program where the heart is always going hard, but is composed of differnt free weight lifts? I've read articles that say this isn't the same as saying running and I've read other articles that say it is the same that the heart doesn't know the difference so...

I played around with some pieces of PVC pipe, it had a similiar effect. I do the exercises in a full range of motion by going with the oscilating motion but while doing that I move my arm through the full range for the muscle being used. For example, for my chest I'll do a fly type move and also a f...

bodyblade
Has anyone here used a 'bodyblade'? It seems like a good idea. I've read articles about it and they claim it works fast twitch and slow twitch fibers. Is it possilbe to work both? To me it seems like it would work more fast twitch fibers due to the nature of the motion. I't seems like a good tool th...

dragon, I found an article that recommends avoiding split routines. If you care to check it out, you can read it here: http://jjdev.com/articles/not_split.html I tend to agree with this article, but am not %100 sure. I remember times when I stop working out for more than 4 days, I get wore all over ...

I'd say in the short term they will help, but you will lose your gains as quick as you got them when you stop. If your don't value your health and need quick short term gains, they would be of potential use. I've always looked at my training as a way to maintain my health, so steriod use would not h...

Thanks for the reply. I realise you can't do both at the same time. I didn't put it down correctly. If I want to weight 80 kg with 12 % BF, I have to go few kg over 80 kg and than lose some fat. I wanted to know which method is better for this HIIT or low intensity longer duration. Thanks. Check ou...

natural inborne ability
do you think you can do much to change your natural rythm? I've always thought that you either have goo rythm or you don't and there isn't much you can do to change that
If anyone has any ideas to improve your sense of rythm let me know, I'd like to hear about them
