when you bridge, in flexibility express, you lift the heels up and let the weight come on the balls of the feet? i thought the heels should stay planted on the ground? what is the difference between these to variations?

Re: a diet plan for gaining muscle

I'm just really confused about the take on saturated fats. In your book science of sports traning you write that the intake of saturated fats should be limited, well being a medical student, I've seen that most medical litterature warns against the intake of saturated fats strongly and should be alm...

a diet plan for gaining muscle

i was wondering if someone could help me a little bit with my diet plan. last christmas i tried the anabolic diet, which basically is a high fat high protein diet, this includes high amounts of saturated fats as well, during the weekdays, and carbohydrate loading in the weekends. it felt like a big ...

Growth hormone and diet

Studying physiology and biochemistry last year in my medical school I was puzzled when I read about growth hormone in my endocrinology chapter. What stimulated it's secretion was actually low insulin levels, hypoglycemia, ghrelin ( secreted during starvation) makes it obvisously a starvation hormone...

I was wondering if i could get your opinion on it. it consists of 4 minutes of slow jogging, then minutes of 20 seconds of running, 10 seconds of walking for 8 times, then 4 minutes of slow jogging again. he said that would be be...

Preparation for the Cooper Test

I usually don't train aerobic endurance, because I feel that my weight training and taekwondo workouts are enough. In PE at school, I will soon have to run a so-called cooper test. This is a test where you run as many laps as possible (each lap=400 meters) for 12 minutes. Last time I ran it, I did 8...

I am happy to report that I've added about 6 pounds to my body weight and I have gone from squatting 60kg for 12 reps to 85kg for 20reps and still rapidly increasing the weights in squats.
I was wondering if you have any advice to prevent leaning to much forward? I have a tendency to do that

I'm glad that so many have experience with this program, and I have a couple of more questions concerning the 20 reps squat program. I have been doing this program for about one week, doing only the squats. I had one week vacation from school and I thought it would be a good idea to do the program a...
