Bump.
Anyone?
Is there a known difference between static flexility, and dynamic and active flexibility? I ask because I have seen people who can do full splits, but those same people cannot hold their leg vertical as in the image I posted above. Is this a common theme?
Thanks.

How much flexibility to do this? (Image)
I'm working towards doing full splits (currently a few inches off the ground in all directions). I want to be sble to hold my legs straight up in the air when doing kicks. I mean extending my foot to 180-degrees vertical and holding it in place for several seconds. How much flexibility is required t...

Re: Question about FLEXIBILITY EXPRESS
What time on Flexibility Express dvd is the "Magic Trick with Hands" shown? I do not recall seeing this and would like to fast forward to when the instruction starts. Thank you.

Flexibility Express - when to advance?
I can squat very low in 5-step squats. I am adding weight on a nearly-weekly basis. At what point is the weight sufficient that I can widen my stance and repeat the process for 7-step squats?
Do I reduce the weight when I widen my squats?

Re: Flexibility Express
So stop the kettlebell squats until my core is strong enough to stop the rounded back? Okay.
Is it just core strength or could hamstring flexibility be an issue too?

Flexibility Express
I'm following the Flexibility Express program (squats to splits). My low back rounds (pelvis tucks under) at the bottom if the squat. How much rounding of the back is acceptable?

Kicking 180 degrees without splits
'Stretching Scientifically' states that kickers do not need static stretches to kick high. Do dynamic stretches alone make it possible to kick 180 degrees vertical without being able to do splits?

Achieving side and front splits separately
For my own personal reasons I want to achieve the side splits before I start training for the front splits. Is this possible with the methods shown in Stretching Scientifically and Secrets of Stretching? Is there any disadvantage to doing it this way (other than time, which I'm not too bothered abou...
